High durable replacement for missing teeth

Case no. 1: Missing adjacent teeth replaced by 2 Implants

A 3D cone-beam image is acquired and the surgical site is studied to determine the quantity and quality of bone where the tooth has been missing or removed.  An appropriate size implant is selected and placed. An implant is a conservative fixed alternative to the traditional dental bridge that required gross reduction of adjacent teeth in order to close spaces.

The final crowns connected to the abutments and implants. The circle on the crowns is a composite covered access channel so that implant components can be retrieved and re-tightened in case of loosening. This method avoids introducing cement into the area around the implant that many times can lead to failure.
